Mi abuelo

One time I was at Menard's with my grandfather and he couldn't find what he was looking for. So we went up to these two employees that were just standing around talking to each other. My grandfather said, "hey I need some help." The two employees ignored him and just kept on talking. My grandfather said again "hey I need help," but still the two just kept on talking. Finally my grandfather butted into their convercation. "What the hell are you two talking about, Girls?" The one employee answered, "No." "Then you are talking about boys," my grandfather replied. The two employees turned red. It was hard to keep myself from laughing.

Classic Drawing: Billy Martin

Here is a drawing of Billy Martin I did back in 2008. Billy managed the Yankees in 76,77,and 78. Also here are a few words from the man himself. Billy started his career in baseball as the Yankees second baseman during the late 50's early 60's. He became a manager in 1962 with the Minnasota Twins. He was an alcholic and an ego maniac. He managed the team through fear and paranioa, which surprisingly had good results, he won two world series and one pennant during his stint with the Yankees. Martin had a firery temper and was known for getting kicked out of games for arguing with umpirers, throwing chairs in the dug out, and giving the finger to photographers. Billy died in 1989 in drunk driving accident, he was sixty one years old.
